If you ever make too much smoothie, and don’t have anyone to drink it, why not turn it into popsicles! This is a great way to repurpose your drink and turn it into a super refreshing summer treat. The best thing about this is that you do not need any extra ingredients – just need a popsicle mold!
For these popsicles, I used my PB & Fruit Smoothie, but any smoothie would work here. Honestly, if you would drink it as a smoothie, it will turn out incredible as a popsicle.
I simply poured the smoothie into my molds and then popped them in the freezer. If you wanted an extra step, you could add chopped fruit or berries for an extra bite. I would suggest adding the same fruit that you have in the actual smoothie.
Ever since I got this popsicle mold (just from the dollar store, super cheap), I’ve been having so much fun making yummy pops. Since popsicle molds vary in size, that will affect how long it takes the popsicles to fully freeze. Mine took about 1/3 cup of smoothie and they were ready in about 3 hours.
These are a very easy snack and it’s great because you know every ingredients inside them, unlike some frozen treats you can get at the grocery store. Hope you enjoy!
