Here I am with another recipe from the Thug Kitchen cookbook! This one was a really easy one and I had no doubts that it would turn out well.
This was a really simple preparation of sweet potatoes. They are coated with maple syrup, chili powder and smoked paprika, then get roasted in a pretty hot oven until tender and a little caramelized. There is nothing complicated, it is a no frills recipe.
I love the combination of sweet and smoky, it’s a good balance of flavours.
These potatoes are a great side dish for burgers, hotdogs or even roasted chicken. For vegetarian options, you can use these in a buddha bowl with other roasted vegetables and lettuce.
