Simple pasta meals are the best. There are only a few ingredients but it tastes so good. This recipe reminded me of a dish I made a while ago called aglio e olio (garlic and oil), it’s just pasta with tons of garlic, oil and parmesan cheese. I loved that a lot, so I wasn’t surprised that I liked five p’s too. This one had green peas though which made it a little healthier and more colourful.
There was a good flavour in this pasta but I did have to add a little more of each ingredient (lemon, butter, parsley, pepper, parmesan) so that the flavours really came through in the end. But it was a super fast dinner and with minimal ingredients, it couldn’t be simpler.
