Hot soup on a hot day? That was my dinner tonight. This would probably be a better choice on a cold winter day (like mentioned in book) but hot summer day is what I got right now
I have nothing bad to say about this soup. It was so hearty and filled with so many veggies, making it super colourful – it’s pretty guilt free too. Really really good
I made one change to the recipe because I could not find italian turkey sausages in the store. I ended up using ground chicken and added some Italian seasoning to the pan while I was cooking it to give some of the same flavours that the sausages would have. And I actually made my own Italian seasoning which was super simple – equal parts basil, oregano, chili flakes, black pepper, thyme and garlic powder. So I used some of that mix with the chicken and the rest later on in the recipe
Final thoughts: you will love everything about this soup, trust me
P.S. Just a side note that from now on, I will be posting on a more regular basis. I just want to make everything more consistent. So expect to see my posts about these (hopefully) yummy recipes every wednesday, thursday and friday. But of course, there may be times when things come up and I will adapt as best as I can.
