This was a really awesome, almost nostalgic dinner.
I really wanted a nice alfredo pasta but I wanted a lighter version. I found a recipe online (from gimmesomeoven.com) and I barely made any changes. Since I didn’t have any parmesan (sadly), I added a bit more salt but also some chili flakes, parsley, black pepper and a hint of nutmeg. I also added some frozen peas for a pop of colour and sweetness.
The tuna patty recipe I found online too (aheadofthyme.com) and I loved it. Again, I changed the spices kinda – I used salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, oregano and fresh chopped parsley. These were very good and coating them with panko before cooking made them crispy and delicious.
yum!
