The Jewish holiday called purim is coming up and I did a little baking for the occasion. These are called hamantaschens and they’re essentially a cookie that can be filled with whatever you want – lemon curd, jam, chocolate chips.

I got this recipe online (toriavey.com) and I’ve made it a few times in precious years. They turned out really well and I love the orange zest in the dough. I filled mine with strawberry jam. They aren’t overly sweet which is awesome.
